Rating System
The rating system is divided into several components, including rating points, leagues, and ranks. Here's how it works:
By winning a match (achieving one of the prize places), the player receives rating points - a currency that reflects your progress in the current league. You start with a certain number of points (a new player starts with 0 points) and earn them depending on the results of your matches. The number of points earned depends on the place taken: 1st place - 20 points, 2nd - 10, 3rd - 5, and below 4th, no points are received. Simultaneously, 8 teams participate in the tournament. There are several leagues in total (Beginners, Backyard, City, Semipro, Pro, and Legends). Each league includes five ranks (I, II, III, IV, and V). For example, if you are in the Backyard league, your current rank will be "Backyard I", "Backyard II", and so on. To advance in the league, you must accumulate 100 points (the number may vary in each division) in your current rank and then play a "qualification match". If you win this match, you move to the next league; if you lose, you stay in the current one, and 50 points are deducted from you. In the last league, "Legends," the best players participate. Here, rating points are replaced by "token points". In the "Legendary league," there are no ranks, and the overall list of players looks like a leaderboard, where the first place is taken by the player with the highest number of points. A player who has just joined the Legendary league starts with 500 token points, and in each game, they can either earn them or lose them, depending on the place taken: 1st place - 20 tokens, 2nd - 10, 3rd - 5, 4th - 0, 5th - loses 5, 6th - loses 10, 7th - loses 20, 8th - loses 30 token points. Simultaneously, 8 teams participate in the tournament. At the end of the season, all token points of players from the Legendary league are converted into tokens, the top 100 players receive additional rewards in the form of tokens, and the ratings are reset before the start of the next season.
